Merkatum’s  patent-pending “EMFIVA F/FRS®” technology is embedded as a robust and functionally-rich Biometric Identity Management System (IdMS) that effectively determines the identity of individuals in a database or field operative environment via the efficient combination of biometric (facial, fingerprint, iris) and/or biographic (textual, cultural, phonetic) recognition technologies. 

EMFIVA F/FRS® ’s pinpoints the identity of a person registered in a database principally by searching and comparing biometric and/or biographic data templates either against each other (identification process) or against a single predetermined value (verification process).   Once a “match” or “no match” response is obtained, a series of functional processes oriented at improving personnel administration activities, diminishing identity fraud, augmenting security and safety measures, and reducing operational risks. 

The solution unleashes value to the end-user by providing or increasing security & safety, identifying fraud and administrative errors     improving productivity and/or reducing costs.

The EMFIVA F/FRS® appliance is a server-based, “out-of-the-box” Biometric IdMS (Identity Management System) purpose-built for different vertical markets including public safety, civil identification, justice, benefits management, financial/insurance and health care.

The system incorporates modular, “plug-and-play” functionality with pre-configured work flows and built-in process best practices that are specific to vertical applications, industries, and use cases. Therefore, enables its deployment with substantial reductions in project risks and compressed system implementation periods, thus minimizing its Total Cost of Ownership and technology adoption curve in a substantive manner.

The emfiva F/FRS appliance is comprised by two distinct product families: emfiva F/FRS Professional and emfiva F/FRS Enterprise.  Each product family is versioned in accordance to system functionality, matching algorithms, database size and/or number of registered users.

EMFIVA F/FRS® is licensed according to specific system and end-user requirements:

(3)          Functional EMFIVA F/FRS®  core modules needed
